How does Teramovil work?
Choose a data plan for your destination, complete the purchase, and receive a QR code. Scan the QR code with your device to install the eSIM profile. Activate it when you arrive at your destination and enjoy mobile data instantly.
Which devices support eSIM?
Most modern smartphones support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and many other devices. Use our compatibility check tool to verify your device.
How do I install my eSIM?
After purchase, you'll receive a QR code. Go to your device's Settings > Cellular/Mobile > Add eSIM, then scan the QR code. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
When should I activate my eSIM?
You can install the eSIM before your trip, but activate it when you arrive at your destination. The validity period starts from the moment of first activation.
Can I keep my regular phone number?
Yes! The eSIM provides data only. Your regular SIM card remains active for calls and texts. Your phone will use the eSIM for data while abroad.
How much data do I need?
For light browsing and messaging, 1-3 GB is usually enough for a week. For streaming and video calls, consider 5-10 GB. Heavy users may need 10+ GB.
What happens if my data runs out?
When your data is exhausted, simply purchase a new plan. There are no overage charges β€” your connection will stop until you top up.
What is your refund policy?
All eSIM plan purchases are final and non-refundable. Due to the digital nature of eSIM products, we are unable to offer refunds once a purchase is completed. Yes, if you purchase a regional or global plan. These plans cover multiple countries within the specified region. Single-country plans only work in the selected country.
